For almost 40 years, the Brookfield has been host to a successful and spirited pool team. Having been formed in 1984, it remains one of the longest-running teams in the county!
Being built up of players from Barrow and other surrounding small villages, the accomplishments that the team have achieved remains nothing short of remarkable.
From winning the coveted Premier Division Cup in 2008 to reaching the final of the SuperCup in 2024, the team have made memories that will last a lifetime.

Typically, the Brookfield will have a home match every other Thursday at 8pm, although this may vary at times.
An updated fixture list will be provided by the team, allowing those interested in watching to come and show support!
A humorous and relaxed attitude always provides for an entertaining spectacle, with a blackout also being contested each week in efforts to give back to the pub for their superb hosting.
Matches are contested under Blackball rules, consisting of 10x singles matches- split into two halves of five.
Much like the points system in football, it is three points for a win, one for a draw and zero for a loss.
